Oprah's Kids' Reading Lists

I recently read this post declaring that the addition of Sara Varon's Robot Dreams to Oprah's Kids Reading List for 6 to 9 year-olds, intimating that this is the first graphic novel on the list. It isn't. Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid is on the 10 - 12 Year-Old list and Shaun Tan's The Arrival is on the 12 Years and Up list.

It's so wonderful to see my favorite form of literature represented on the Oprah's Kids list. Now, what about the adult list? I recommend Persepolis, as it seems to fit the female-friendly nature of the list. Your recommendations?
